Logo design with clipping mask
The clipping mask is a nice option on adobe illustrator. You are able to cut any object to any size or shapes even a raster image. In this tutorial we will see how to work with raster images and make a logo. Lets start our class!!

Program used: Adobe illustrator cs6.
Document type: RGB
Minimum qualifications: Using the pen tool, pathfinder panel and the gradient palette.
We need a jpeg image for making clipping mask as well as our work. You can use images with another format. I have used this image. Hit the download button. A new page will be appeared with this image. Right click on the image and click save to save it for work.

Step 1: First create a new document and place your
image (file/place).
Step 2: Now, write your text on the placed image with any fill color. You can make the text bold for better result.
Step 3: Select both objects and go to
"object/clipping mask/make". Your vector art will be like below. Not funny?
Finalizing vector art
The art work process is almost over. But we have to apply some effects to make the logo more professional.
Now, you can apply any effect such as 3d, drop shadow etc. I have applied inner glow to make the corner smooth.
