Illustrator beginner │ How to use transform palette
This is another beginner tutorial on adobe illustrator. In this tutorial we will learn how to use the transform tool. This is a very important tool. On most of the tutorial I have used this tool. So, I strongly recommend you to see this valuable guide attentively. Otherwise you may not be able to realize the advanced tutorials such as 3d and complex shape tutorials.
Learn how to use the transform palette of illustrator:
To open the transform window go to "Window/transform". You will see a window like below.
Details of image:
1. X position: This option shows the position of the selected
object.
2. Y position: This option shows the position of the selected
object.
3. Angle: You can rotate your selected object with this tool.
Change the value to rotate.
4. Width: Change the value to change the width.
5. Height: Change the value to change the height.
6. Link/Unlink: Select this option to change the width and height
value at the same time. That means selecting linked if you change value of width or height both value will be changed.
7. Shear: You can change the object size and angle at a time by
this tool.
